The Scotland Census of 1841 was taken on 6 June 1841, it is the first to include the names and details of all individuals within a household. Information listed in these records may include: name, gender, age, year and place of birth, year and place of residence, and occupation. Relation to head of household was not recorded in this census. However, MyHeritage has developed technology to imply the relations based on surname, gender, age and position in the household. Though not perfect, the implied relations are often correct.
